The function of wiper rings is a double-acting scraper with two back-to-back arranged scraping lips. The O-ring provides constant pressure of the scraping lips against the sliding rod surface over a long period of time. It features minimal break-out and dynamic friction to guarantee no stick-slip by premium PTFE compound.
